With inkjet water-slide decals after the ink has been fixed to the paper using a clear aerosol spray your decals are safe to submerge in water for separation, even though the ink is water-soluble! Inkjet decals offer the ultimate in print quality when printing photo based decals, or decals with high resolution art. Applications: The white water-slide decal media is especially useful for very dark substrates such as black painted car models, or railroad cars. Complementary Products: Inkjet decals require a fixative to seal the ink to the decal film (for submersion in water), we have both an aerosol and liquid fixative available for your convenience. The aerosol fixative provides a faster drying time, and the liquid fixative provides the ultimate in professional looking results. We also offer Krylon Crystal Clear, though since it is not specifically designed to work with this decal paper some crazing can occur over time. Though Krylon is an excellent all purpose arts & crafts clear coat our decal fixatives products work better when used with our decal paper. To make mounting decals a breeze (especially larger designs) use our Decal Mounting Fluid, this lubricates the surface of the substrate, preventing tearing and stretching. To remove air bubbles and wrinkles from your decals during application a Rubber Decal Squeegee is a must have tool.
